I helped out my good friend of mine, Zane, with this wedding on the 14th of this month. Had a wonderful time with all of my friends from Apertures Photo, my fave photography shop here in T-Town. Hope you all enjoy them.

Getting ready to shoot another wedding in Colorado! I am also visiting some long lost family in this little resort named Gateway Canyons just an hour Southwest of Grand Junction. Quite nice, check it out. Here is the view that I woke up to this morning!

Courtney & Dave - Engagement

I know what you guys are thinking… What’s with the major lull in blogging. Well, you know me. Busy as can be. The wife and I are in the process of moving and apparently buying and remodeling a house and then selling and remodeling at the same time takes an inordinate amount of time. Who knew? So I am making the time and getting everything caught up here since we are going to be shooting constantly for the rest of the month.

Anyway, back to business…

Here are a few of my faves from Lindy & Ryan’s engagement. It was an excruciatingly hot and humid day and the rain was on it’s way. A heavy overcast is a GREAT excuse to put out some nice black and white imagery.

After shooting some portraits of the couple alone I hear some yell out to “get them”. I turned around and this is what I saw coming at me. See the look in their eyes? Scary!

The aftermath… Nobody was seriously injured.

Your supposed to toss it, right? Not Greg! Fastball right to the groomsman. Had to crop in on this one to catch the expressions on their faces. Classic! These guys were a blast all night long.

Misty & Zac’s Wedding!

So I have been a lacky lately when it comes to my blogging, I know. I have a ton of great images I need to get up but I simply haven’t had time to get it done. Guilt has overwhelmed me so I am compelled to at least get a small taste of what I have been up to here on the blog.

These are images from Misty & Zac’s wedding at the Dresser Mansion here in Tulsa. A place I have grown very fond of recently. Every room has the best lighting and colors. It’s just great for dramatic imagery. Hope you like!

I managed to get them away from everyone for a few shots alone.

J.J. - Senior Portraits

Last night had the pleasure of shooting J.J.’s senior portraits. Tried a little variety this time, first with some natural light and then with strobes when it got dark.

The colors come out great when you combine the industrial look with a touch of cross-process.

I don’t know which on of these I like more but I think they definitely ready for Sports Illustrated the year book.

A perfect pose for the QB.

 

Francia & John’s Engagement

Took my friends, Francia & John out last night to shoot some engagement pictures. Again, I used my new Speedlite setup and again it rocked! I had a great time with these guys! Leave ‘em some love (and me too! I would like to hear what you think of the new style).

As you can see… They got along with the camera quite well.

Seriously, I don’t know what this was about but it just cracked me up.

Misty & Zac’s Engagement

Well, wedding season is coming in a hurry. Misty and Zac are tying the knot in just a couple weeks. We recently met them for some engagement photos in Stillwater , home of the OSU Cowboys. Check ‘em out!
